Systems Approach to Golfing

Systems Approach to Golfing Learning to play golf well can be a frustrating and extremely difficult experience. What some of us have learned is that teaching someone else to play golf well can be every bit as difficult and frustrating!

Chip Heyl's book Systems Approach to Golfing takes the mystery and the menace out of both learning and teaching. Chip's contribution for the learner is to provide him a book that addresses every aspect of the game in a straight-forward, logical fashion.

The many excellent graphics Chip has developed present the basics of every type of shot clearly and concisely. For the teacher, Chip's System Approach provides an incomparable classroom resource which should help focus and encourage classroom participation and subsequent practice sessions.

The text and illustrations identify proven methods for practicing and playing, as well as for developing a shot plan and selecting the proper club.

The book comes with a companion CD that includes an animated slide show which goes further than the text on both practice and difficult bunker play. This makes a valuable resource for getting the most out of your game.

Just a few quick words on this book.

Highly Recommneded! It has an especially easy to understand tone, intructions, and diagrams.

Evey now and then I wonder why someone wants to use 100 words to describe something when 20 words works as well and many times better. This book contains a ton of really valid golf instruction. There is no fluff, just solid content to let a golfer get the most from their game.

If you are serious about your golf and if this book isn't in your library of books to read and USE, it should be.

Here are some of the chapter titles;
Noted short game expert Dave Pelz states:

"I have played many enjoyable rounds of golf with Chip Heyl. He is a fine player, a student of the game, and understands a lot about how to optimize your ability to score.

Chip's Systems Approach to Golfing applies proven system engineering principles to the game, and I believe in these principles.
