Birdie Master
BirdieMaster is a circular tray with a beveled edge that slopes up to a regulation putting cup. Three rings fit inside the cup to incrementally reduce the target to the diameter of a golf ball.
Even with all of the rings removed, putting with the BirdieMaster is intentionally challenging. Overcoming the slope requires a firm stroke that would drive the ball a foot past the cup on a flat surface. Hit the ball too hard, however, and the ball will jump out of the shallow cup.
Speed is half the equation; proper alignment is just as important. The slope of the BirdieMaster’s ramp magnifies errors in alignment, steering even slightly misdirected putts away from the cup.
Only near-perfect putts—properly aimed with the correct velocity—will remain in the cup. BirdieMaster is so challenging that the golf course seems easy by comparison. And that’s exactly what you need to take strokes off your short game.
