How to Minimize Your Mistakes
Does this sound familar? You were playing along just fine and then a triple bogey finds its way onto the score card.
Afterwards you get a great hindsight view and then decide you should have played that hole much differently. You can't re-do any of those shots so let's work on trying to eliminate those bad choices.
If you are looking at you ball and it is nestled down in the rough, think twice before just grabbing your fairway wood. Take a good look at your lie.
- Is there grass bewteen the ball and the club face?
- Is the rough four inches deep?
This would be a perfect time to consider taking a more lofted club and just get back into the fairway.
