SHAFT PREFERENCE AND LOCATION
The straight or offset shaft is a personal preference.

The location of the shaft is also a personal preference. The heel location is standard in the industry but the center shafted putter is gain favorability as there is less rotation of the putter head on off center hits.
If you like to use the entire head for speed control from heel to toe. Off the toe for downhill or fast greens and off the heel for slow or uphill greens then the heel position is best for better speed control.
